Launch of Alaska C-PACE Webinar Series

The Alaska Energy Authority (AEA), with support from PACE Financial Servicing (PFS) and the Alaska C-PACE Advisory Group, is facilitating the development of C-PACE in Alaska. Commercial property assessed clean energy, or “C-PACE” financing is a form of long-term, non-recourse debt that facilitates private financing for energy related upgrades to non-residential properties. C-PACE financing drives private sector investment in local communities, helps local governments meet efficiency and clean energy standards, creates energy and construction jobs, and lowers the cost of energy in Alaska.

AEA and PFS are launching a series of online webinars to raise awareness about C-PACE and solicit feedback for its development in Alaska. The webinars take place on July 21st and July 29th and are open to the general public. A third webinar, on July 30th, is for local government officials.

This is an opportunity for you and your organization to have your voice heard in the development of this program.
