To apply for C-PACER financing, your project must be located in a municipality that has authorized C-PACER a C-PACE program. Click here for a list of available C-PACER programs.
Each C-PACER program will have its own requirements to apply for financing. Before applying, interested property owners should contact the local C-PACER administrator and request a copy of the Program Handbook.
The documents provided below are examples of the documents that may be required when applying for C-PACER financing. Please do not fill out these documents without first contacting your local C-PACER administrator:
AK C-PACER Project Application
This is a form application that local governments may use to determine the eligibility of a proposed C-PACER project. If you are a potential borrower interested in using the C-PACER program, please contact your local program administrator for the full suite of application package documents.
AK C-PACER Certificate of Eligibility
Certification executed by the borrower, confirming that the property is not insolvent or in bankruptcy proceedings and that the property is current on all tax and mortgage payments.
AK C-PACER Notice to Mortgage Holder
The applicant shall give each holder of a mortgage lien on the property at least 30 days’ written notice of the intention of the property owner to utilize C-PACER financing and obtain a written consent from each holder of a mortgage lien on the property. Such consent must be for not less than the total financed amount of the C-PACER assessment. This document is used to provide notice to the mortgage holder.
AK C-PACER Mortgage Holder Consent
The applicant shall give each holder of a mortgage lien on the property at least 30 days’ written notice of the intention of the property owner to utilize C-PACER financing and obtain a written consent from each holder of a mortgage lien on the property. Such consent must be for not less than the total financed amount of the C-PACER assessment. This document is used by the mortgage holder to consent to the levying of the C-PACER assessment.
AK C-PACER Disclosure of Risk
The applicant will submit an executed Disclosure of Risk form.
AK C-PACER Certificate of Eligible Improvements
The applicant will submit a Certificate of Eligible Improvements completed by an independent energy auditor.
AK C-PACER Attachment to the Certificate of Eligible Improvements
The applicant will submit a Certificate of Eligible Improvements completed by an independent energy auditor. Attached to that Certificate of Eligible Improvements will be a table describing the measures financed through C-PACER.
AK C-PACER LTV Variance & SIR Waiver
The applicant will submit this form only if a waiver is requested for the maximum loan to value or SIR requirements required by the program. The applicant will include an appraisal in the application package if submitting this form.
AK C-PACER Completion Certificate
For each completed energy improvement project, the property owner will submit to the municipality program administrator verification that the energy improvement project was properly completed and is operating as intended, as validated by an independent energy auditor.
